How long before I start seeing results using the Neti Pot?

Does the neti pot that you stick up your nose help sinus pressure?

From what I understand it is basically a teapot and you pour a solution up your nose and it comes out the other side of your nose and drains your sinuses.

Does this work? Have you all used it? Did it make you feel better?

So far my ideas are using a sports bottle(idea 1), a oil funnel with hose(idea 2), or a turkey baser(idea 3) for a quick fix until I head back to the city. Any other viable options?

Is the NeilMed Bottle reusable when you buy the kit? Is it better than the Neti Pot?
