I’ve been to on in Ventura County, Ca. It was just for dinner for 2 people.
It was a little more expensive that I would have guessed. We did a three course dinner w/ salad, appetizer fondue, meat/veggie fondue and dessert fondue. The server brings the fondue pot and sets up the fondue for eache course and explains what he/she is putting in it. If there are any side dipipng sauces, they go into that explanation as well.
I found them to be helpful, but with all of the tutorials that you’ll be getting, it made the dinner take a really long time. Honestly, because of the price and the amount of time it took for 2 people, I wouldn’t go there for a large party. Totally worth doing at least once, but try it out first with a small number of people.

I have been to the melting pot twice once for my birthday it was just the boyfriend and I and we did the 4 courses of salad, cheese fondue, broth fondue with main entree and then the chocolate fondue for the whole meal with a couple of drinks it was like $120. The next time I went was for some one elses birthday and they just did chocolate dessert it was 8 people and we got 2 different large pots of chocolate fondue and it was 60 dollars not including drinks. Fun yes but expensive and I like the more intimate idea of two people than the whole group of people. I attend the one in Irvine both time. Hopes this help your decision!
i’ve thrown two birthday parties at the melting pot in irvine. it’s a fun place for small intimate parties. i highly recommend it!

I have been to the Melting Pot here in North Carolina, and I love it. But for that many people it could be pricey. now if each person is paying for themselves then you should be ok. It is a fun place to go and you can all mix and match as well and then get the ability to try different menu items. Call them to make sure that they can accomodate such large parties as well. My 18 year old daughter loves The Melting Pot, but it’s insanely expensive. A smaller group might be more fun, though.
My daughter loves La Fondue in San Juan Capistrano, and she says the atmosphere is much better than The Melting Pot, but the food is pretty much the same.

Yes but very pricey! Bucca di peppo might be a better alternative for 10-20 people.
I just had my birthday at The Melting Pot. It is pricey, but a lot of fun.
I have tried the Bocca Di Peppo that the PP mentioned in Atlanta and did not like it at all, but that is JMO!

I’ve been to the Melting Pot in Irvine. It’s a good place fora party since the fondue thing is a lot of fun for groups. It’s quite expensive and not a good value foodwise, but it’s fun entertainment. It’s fun to try new dipping sauces on different types of food.
