  A little black dress always keeps it casual but formal at the same time. You can wear your hair down or done up in a updo. I prefer keeping mine down and depending where you live I would wear some black wedges so it’s not too fancy. and keep the makeup natural. Hope this helps

  upscale casual would be appropriate-dark jeans and heels with a frilly top would be good.
