No worry, they will never disappear. The rights and livelihood of pure breed Malay people(’Orang Asli’ as in Malay language) is always protected as stated in the constitution of Malaysia. One of the initiative the government does is placing certain forests as reserve forest so that the Penans, and Negrito can always go on with their traditional lifestyle and living.
I cannot see the traditional orang asli way of life continuing into the 22nd century. I don’t think Malaysia is unique in this though, all countries will lose their unmixed aboriginals as everyone joins mainstream world culture.
