if they are illegal they have no intentions of contributing anything to our American system. if they carry the flag of their old country they have no intentions of having any loyalty to their new country. we need to stop the illegal invasion. and stop the illegals from making demands when they have no rights as an American.

I think a number of Hispanics and some illegal immigrants think they are entitled to be here because they are Mexican. I think most of that stuff came from the far left trying to get more mobilizable, poorer workers here to swing our politics left, and by home grown radicals tought in our ‘Chicano studies’ programs, many of whom may have been born here of illegal immigrants but not so many of whom are themselves illegal. They are the ones who, born here, think it isn’t fair that they don’t have what others have, when their parents have little education and sometimes no English whatsomever. That is where I think the truly rabid stuff comes from. I think (and studies tend to show) that the immigrants themselves tend to compare their life to the life they left behind, and see their new life as ‘good’.
However, that is just a theory.
Watch their behaviour when they march in the streets, they will answer your question. They do not come with the idea of getting to be an American. They want to be here, depleting the taxpayers money, keeping their identities and their way of live, and staying faithful to their own countries.
Most of the time I only see the illegal Mexicans not “melting.” They show their allegiance to Mexico, not the US. My city has LOTS of illegals so I see this everyday!
Sure be proud of your heritage but you should support your country. Mexican flags should never be flown over the US flag! If they love Mexico so much they should go back!!!

How many times have you had to order your food in spanish or press #1 for English?
How many Mexican flags do you see on people’s cars?
We have English as Second Language classes in our school, while we pay tax $ and they don’t.
They can’t live LEGALLY, because they are here illegally so everything they do is underground and shady.
They don’t pay taxes and SHOULD NOT be able to buy a new car or home, because you need a SSN.
They are cowards in their own country for taking up arms against their own government, they would rather come here and take advantage of our forgiving (Liberal) and weak society where there can rape and pillage our American way of life with every bleeding heart protecting them.
Libs, remember they came here illegally, we are not keeping them here nor did we invite them here, so if they get treated bad and get ostracized, OH WELL. I am an American Citizen with the right to FREE SPEECH and the right to BEAR ARMS, I hope the illegals know what OUR rights are if they want to come here and break our laws and committ crimes!

Four things:
1.- Thanks for the way you made this question. I didn’t see any racial prejudice, or funny/stupid claims, as most of the questions in this section. Yours only tell me that you know a little bit about illegals,and are concerned about this issue.
2.-If American still thinking that those whom are not a friend are their worst enemies, Illegals wont ever want to be mixed in the melting pot. There are a lot of differences in both traditions and cultures, that make Americans thing that those who love their roots, hate America. Wrong!!!
3.- Everybody I said EVERYBODY in this world maintains an allegiance to their country as Americans do. Why Illegals won’t? Ask anyone of other countries about this, and they would tell you they are proud of where they came from. And despite of this fact, illegals have demonstrated allegiance to the USA, since many of them are in the Irak war in this moment. And ready for the next one.
4.- Tomorrow: Turn your T.V. ON . There will be many marches in the whole country claiming for a comprehensive inmigration reform . I forget to tell you something: EVERYBODY Not only Americans has the right to protest.
Some do….alot don’t. There is no melting at all for many because they aren’t trying to get along side by side with people they literally run people out and take over and are quite proud to say they’ve “won”. Everything is Spanish and it just keeps spreading. There are some who leave hispanic neighborhoods because they’ve turned into where they’ve fled from and they don’t like it either. Nothing like being a legal Mexican-American and going to celebrate whatever the holiday is that’s comming up and getting drug out of your truck and beaten up because you have an American flag sticker on your truck and being called a traitor. (happened last year here) So yes there are a number who could care less about being American or a citizen and have plans of taking over the country for Mexico. Not just the south-west anymore….the whole country and some have even said the entire continent…so watch out Canada! Granted they are a radical group but they’re the ones funding these marches and everything and many hispanics don’t know the truth behind these groups. They just think they’re there to help them. Unfortunatly some have made it to citizenship as well as in government office and I’m watching the whole process unfold as “majority rules” and one town after another turning Spanish….Mexican to be exact and government officials blatently going against our laws helping them to do it right under our noses.
Below is the list of sponsors for the march here tomorrow. There’s a few that will sure get the Americans red flag warning going. Sheep to the slaughter and they don’t see it.

I think it depends on the individual. Some illegal immigrants pay taxes and want to become citizens, but it is expensive and difficult to even get a visa into this country (or most other countries for that matter).
And the government sends conflicting messages as to the acceptablility of immigrating illegally. The IRS, for example, has no problem accepting tax returns, but does not share that information with immigration officials.
