The melting pot is a fondue resturant. they serve cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. the prices are pretty steep.

I just went this past week for the first time and it was good and different.
Yes, the big night out price includes dessert. It includes all four courses ( cheese fondue to start, then a salad, then your actual dinner, then dessert). The only hidden cost is what you use to actually cook your dinner in. I think it was 6 bucks and yes you have to order this (three different ones to pick from)in order to cook your meat/seafood.

I signed up to be a member of some sort on the melting pot website just to get a free dessert coupon (which was worth $15 dollars - that’s how much just the dessert is alone) and I was able to use the coupon with the big night out combo.
The server will ask you if you’ve been before and will explain everything to you. If you’re a bit confused, just ask questions.
I can’t wait to go back. I’ve been craving the spinach artichoke cheese dip since that night. And the peanut butter chocolate dessert was soooo good. God, I want it NOW.
My bill, after the coupon, was $86 and this included just one drink which was $9. This did not include the tip, so I tipped on what the original bill was before the dessert was taken off.
You’re going to love it! And you do cook your own meat in a pot at your table. The server makes your cheese and dessert at the table and the salad is brought already made.
I think I could actually go on and on about the Melting Pot.
One more thing. You do not have to order in the package, and they have a few other packages other than the big night out. I believe everything is available ala carte, so if you just wanted cheese, or dessert, you could just do that.
I have never been there, but I hear that it’s like a fondue place. You get food and either cheese or chocolate fondue to dip it in. It is fun and delicious. However, I also hear that it’s expensive. I don’t care though because if I ever go there, I don’t have to pay! My mom takes care of that!
