arcaneamy80 asked: I used it for the first time yesterday with table salt and I has no problems, no stinging at all, then today I bought some Celtic sea salt which I was recommended to me to use, and when I tried it it stung really bad. Could I have used too much salt and burnt or irritated my sinuses? Or something else? And if so how long should I wait before I use it again?

It sounds like either your mixture was off or the Celtic sea salt was too abrasive for your sensitive nasal passages. There is something called a ” Sinus Rinse kit” and it is similar to a neti-pot but much easier to use. The kit comes iwth it’s own mixture packet and you just have to add your sterile water to the bottle. If you want to continue using the neti-pot, they sell just the packets and you can use those in the neti -pot so you don’t have to worry about making the correct solution.
Good luck
